The History of Science Society is pleased to present several resources for everybody interested in the history of science.

IsisCB Explore– This newly built research tool gives researchers free access to the core bibliographical dataset from the Isis Bibliography of the History of Science. It uses state-of-the-art architecture, has an API for automated access, and will soon be updated on a continuous basis. Try it now:

 

 
 

Publications – The HSS produces Isis, a quarterly journal in the history of science; a quarterly Newsletter; Osiris, an annual special topic journal, and the Current Bibliography, the annual index of books, articles, and dissertations in the history of science.

HSTM Database – As a benefit to members, the History of Science Society provides free access to the History of Science, Technology and Medicine Database, administered by EBSCO. With over 295,000 professionally collected entries from around the world, the HSTM database is the definitive international bibliography on the development and influence of science, from prehistory to the present.

Land Acknowledgement – At its annual meeting, the History of Science Society honors the Native peoples on whose land it is conducted. More information about Indigenous land and ceremonies is available at this link.
