The Healthy Scepticism Short Film Competition

The Healthy Scepticism Film Festival is hosting a short film competition and we would be very grateful if you could circulate the call among your students, contacts and social media channels. We also of course invite you to participate!

The Healthy Scepticism Film Festival is organised by the Wellcome Trust funded Healthy Scepticism (HS) project, supplemented with additional support from King’s College, London. The project seeks to understand and narrate the experiences of medicine’s critics, sceptics, antagonists, and dispossessed and to use these findings to enact positive healthcare change.

We are looking for short-films, max 15 min, from all over the world. New, up-and-coming or outsider filmmakers are especially encouraged to participate. We will feature the films of our finalists as part of our virtual film festival, and one overall winner will get a £250 prize and will be featured in the festival, alongside an interview with the winning filmmaker. The winner will be chosen by an interdisciplinary panel of judges working across the content areas of the Healthy Scepticism project.

You can find the link to the call for entries on our website:

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
