Book Reviews for the British Journal for the History of Science

The British Journal for the History of Science is looking for book reviewers. Reviews should be of 800-1000 words and returned within 3 months of receipt of the book. We have a large number of volumes awaiting review, topics cover the history of science, technology, medicine, and environment, as well as intellectual history. We also have some primary source collections, for example, editions of letters and sources in translation. These cover all historical papers and geographic specialisms.

Book reviewing is great practice for early career scholars and we particularly welcome enquiries from Masters and PhD students. Reviews are published in each issue of the journal, and a quick publication turn around is guaranteed.

Please consult our current book list which is available here.
