CFP: SHOT Graduate Student Workshop, June 2016

June 22-26, 2016

Call for papers

SHOT invites applications from graduate students to present short papers (up to 10 pages, 1.5-spaced) at an intensive workshop in parallel to the formal SHOT conference. The workshop will provide graduate students with an opportunity to receive intensive feedback on both content and presentation skills before they present a first official paper within a subsequent SHOT conference as a candidate for the Robinson Price.

The workshop will be on a morning or afternoon 24-25 June 2016 (the annual meeting runs from 22-26 June). Each graduate student will present her or his paper and comment on another paper. The workshop will be mediated by Lars Heide (Copenhagen Business School, Denmark), Francesca Bray (University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom), and Atsushi Akera (Rensselaer Polytechnic, USA).

Proposal Format: One page in total, comprising name, contact, affiliation, paper title, and an abstract of up to half a page. Please follow the general guidelines found on the SHOT website in the document titled “Guidelines to writing a good SHOT proposal.”

Send proposals by e-mail to shotsec@auburn.edu, with “Graduate Student Workshop” in the subject line.
