CFP: Exploring Traditions: Sources for a Global History of Science

Call for papers

The third and final workshop connected to an AHRC Network-grant under this title held by the Faculty of History, Cambridge, and the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, Cambridge, will be held on 30 May 2014 at the Centre for Research in Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH). Sujit Sivasundaram (sps20@cam.ac.uk) and Simon Schaffer (sjs16@cam.ac.uk), are keen to hear from postgraduate students working in the UK, and outside Cambridge, who would like to present papers at this meeting. Papers are invited from students working specifically with materials and sources from beyond Europe and America, and from those engaging with the global turn in the history of the sciences. 200-word abstracts should be sent to both Sujit Sivasundaram and Simon Schaffer by 29th March 2014.
