June 4-6, 2018, Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM)
The Canadian Society for History and Philosophy of Mathematics (CSHPM) will be holding its 2018 Annual Meeting at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in conjunction with the 2018 Canadian Philosophy Association (CPA) Meeting. The meeting will be held Monday through Wednesday, June 4-6, 2018. The annual Kenneth O. May Lecture will be delivered by Dr. Emily Grosholz, Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA and the theme of the special session will be the History of the Philosophy of Mathematics.
Members are invited to present papers on any subject relating to the history of mathematics, its use in the teaching of mathematics, the philosophy of mathematics, or a related topic. Talks in either English or French are welcome, as are presentations about work in progress. Graduate students are especially welcome to present their work. All graduate students who present are eligible for the CSHPM Student Award.
