The Department of History and Political Science at Missouri University of Science & Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship for Fall 2011 in the History of Science with a specialization in any area of European History (including Great Britain and Russia). Candidates must be prepared to teach survey courses in Western Civilization. Candidates must have Ph.D. no later than August 15, 2011 and must provide evidence of excellence in teaching and scholarship.
