The Department of History and Political Science at Missouri University of Science & Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship for fall 2011 in the history of science with a specialization in any area of European history (including Great Britain and Russia). Candidates must be prepared to teach survey courses in Western Civilization. Candidates must have PhD no later than August 15, 2011, and must provide evidence of excellence in teaching and scholarship. All application materials, including resume/c.v., cover letter, three reference letters, portfolio, etc. must be electronically submitted to the Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Human Resource Office using the following address: hrsinfo@mst.edu.
